ELECTROFORMED JEWELRY

Through a collision of art and science, I create a one of a kind piece of nature you can wear by taking natural items and electrodepositing copper onto them to create a permanent encasement that protects the detail and  preserves the item forever. All items are hand collected ethically and legally and electroformed in scrap copper.

My bones come from dump sites, roadkill and random forest finds. They are thoroughly cleaned and degreased. My insects are collected after naturally passing and available as I get them by such means. Most have some damage which I thoughtfully repair. Minerals are hand collected/cut by myself as I am an avid rockhound.Plants are collected only where abundant and in ways that will not damage the health of the plants or surrounding ecosystem.
